Fuel Caps are designed to seal your vehicle's fuel system to help prevent evaporation as well as contamination. There are two types of Fuel Caps, Vented and Non Vented. Vented Fuel Caps maintain pressure in the fuel system, particularly in vehicles made after 1985. The pressure is maintained by a special valve in the Fuel Cap that can also release pressure if it is too high.Non Vented Fuel Caps maintain pressure, they do not release it. CPC offer the largest range of both Non Locking and Locking Fuel Caps. Please check the Vehicle Application Guide to find the correct Fuel Cap for your vehicle.
