FS296 - Fuel Filter 10 Microns suits FS201
Replacement filter to suit the SAAS FS201 Fuel Water Separator

FILTER REMOVAL:

On the top of the FS201 filter housing there are 2 x hex nuts.
The smaller of the 2 has an 8mm head and this is what retains the filter body.
The 8mm bolt passes all the way through the filter and into the plastic drain cock at the base below the inspection bowl.
Loosen off the 8mm bolt until it threads clear of the drain cock
Remove the drain cock
Remove the plastic inspection bowl
The filter is sealed by 2 o-ring gaskets
Ease the FS296 filter from the housing being careful not to damage the seals
Re-installation is the reversal - be careful not to over-tighten as this will cause pinching of the shaft o-ring seals and potential leakage
